The NCGP Steering Group reported in July 2008 that the Northumberland County Golf Partnership Development Plan was approved by the EGU. A copy of it is available for inspection here. Phase 2 funding has also been granted. Included in that Developmen plan was funding for a CDO (County Development Officer) and the post is expected to be filled in March 2010.
1. To promote the game of golf and increase people's awareness. 2. To introduce more people to golf irrespective of age, gender or background. 3. To provide opportunities for people to sustain their involvement and regularly participate in golf. 4. To educate people on the rules and etiquette of golf. Further Information: |
