The Northumberland Junior Golf Tour will consist of four, nine hole qualifying competitions open to players without a handicap and for those with a handicap of 18 or more between the ages of 7 and 12 on the 1st of January 2013. At each event players will be able to earn points towards our Order of Merit. Players will qualify to represent Northumberland in a match against teams from Durham and Cumbria.
The Junior Golf Tour is a developmental tour for juniors to progress along their golfing pathway. We would like to encourage more young golfers onto the course giving them the opportunity to learn about handicaps and the rules, experience new courses and clubs, meet new friends and have fun.
Parents/Guardians and families are encouraged to walk around and support their players.
Each event will also have a putting and chipping competition.
